The "A-maze-ing" Way

"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." These words define the mission of Jesus for John's Gospel. Jesus is the way to his Father. Jesus truly shows us what the Father is like. And Jesus gives us the Spirit of the Father as a guarantee of eternal life.

While explaining Jesus as the "truth" and the "life" might confuse your family members, you can use a maze to explain Jesus as the "way." Set up a maze in a play room or in the backyard. Mark obstacles in the maze with temptations. But, mark the path of the maze as "Jesus." And, mark the goal line as "God the Father." Have contests with family members through the maze. In the end, ask: how does Jesus help us around temptations? How does Jesus lead us to the Father?
