Family Activity Spiritual Planning for VacationSummer is a time for travel. We take vacations to see new sights, renew old relationships, refresh mind and spirit. Vacations can be a time of stress, however. We remove ourselves from old routines and habits on which we rely to give us focus. Transition between the old routine and the vacation mode can leave us grumpy, out of sorts. In addition, travel causes its own stress. At these times, we need to take time for others. Time for prayer. Time for patience. How about doing some spiritual planning for these transitions times? Gather your family members together to discuss transition stress and write down a few ideas to help each other through the stress. Stress will be reduced if the family plans to care for each other. |
