| Family Activity How to be a Good HostWhat's most important to be a good host: good service or good conversation? Obviously we strive for a balance. We want our guests to be well served and well entertained. So did Martha and Mary. Many times we adults know how to be good hosts but we don't pass this skill to our children. This summer time of picnics and BBQ's, it might be a good time to discuss how to be a good host with your family members. Buy a simple party planning book, if that helps focus the discussion. You might even plan a small party with your family. To close the discussion, read Luke 10:38-42. Discuss why Martha and Mary together would be good hosts. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
